For Steini, a short film recreation of Rocky, I took on multiple roles, including co-writing the script, scouting locations, acting, and overseeing creative and art direction. As the sole editor, I focused on crafting a compelling narrative that honored the original while adding unique elements that defined Steini. My aim was to stay true to the spirit of Rocky while giving the project its own identity. From selecting filming spots to shaping the pacing and visual style in the edit, this project allowed me to showcase versatility in filmmaking and storytelling. During editing, I built pacing to heighten tension and excitement, matching visuals to emotional beats. I used dynamic cuts and smooth transitions to create a fluid viewing experience, elevating dramatic moments and highlighting the characters' journey. Sound design and music further amplified the film's energy, immersing the audience. This project demonstrated both my technical editing skills and ability to blend creative elements into a cohesive final piece.
