Located in the heart of Florence’s Santa Croce district, Ludo is a hotel concept designed for young, adventurous travelers who seek immersive and social experiences. Set within the historic Le Murate complex, the project reimagines a former convent-turned-prison into a vibrant cultural hub. The design draws inspiration from Florence’s architectural geometry, blending bold colors, modular spatial layouts, and interactive elements. Themes like sacred geometry, repetition in movement, and vibrant play guide the design language. The hotel fosters spontaneous exploration through communal spaces, small-plate dining, and a variety of room types that suit both solo travelers and groups. Ludo transforms a once-isolated site into a dynamic platform for discovery, where tradition meets modern design in an atmosphere of curiosity, connection, and fun.
